The Poetry Project

Rooms 14 and 25 were fortunate to be involved in a project organized by the Michael King Writer's Centre, with support from Auckland Council. Auckland based Fijian poet Daren Kamali led the students through two workshops. It was awesome to see how he encouraged the students to get really involved in writing poems and performing them to their peers. It was hard work for everyone, but we are all very proud of the results.
Thanks to Daren and to Carrie for organizing the visit.
