Tape Art Project
Our school was invited to be one of only two chosen to participate in an exciting visual art project that will culminate in a Tape Art exhibition at Hui Te Ananui A Tangaroa, the New Zealand Maritime Museum.
In 2016, Tape Art NZ will visit the New Zealand Maritime Museum to create and facilitate work for a beautiful exhibition in the Edmiston Gallery. In addition to creating their own mural, which on its completion will become a projection, the artists will work with school children in a number of workshop sessions on collaborative projects.
The development of the artist’s mural will be filmed. Once the mural is completed it will be removed and replaced with the time-lapse video accompanied by music commissioned by Christine White.
